Design and Aesthetics
We recognise that, in most instances, escalators and moving walkways feature strongly in a building’s architecture. It is one of the reasons Jackson works closely with our customers at the design phase of
a project so we can ensure that the engineering, safety and aesthetic requirements of the project are met before manufacturing commences.
Although our escalators and walkways are based on a standard design, each one requires site-specific measurements to ensure the installation goes smoothly. We work with you, undertaking
site-specific surveys prior to working on the specifications and design for your escalator
or moving walkway. In instances where we are replacing an existing unit or units, our designers will use the existing mounting points where possible.
It is not only standard units that we install: Jackson engineers and designers can help with bespoke designs that can incorporate a choice of stylish finishes for internal escalators or moving walkways and weather-resistant robust stainless steel for semi external and external units.
