Local Lift Maintenance Nationwide – For Premium Student Accommodation
Across the UK there is a constant demand for high-quality student accommodation located within an easy commute to a student’s chosen university. Jackson is proud to work with one of the UK’s leading accommodation providers in this very specialist market. Our customer has properties located in 27 of the UK’s cities and towns, with a portfolio of multi-story repurposed, listed and heritage buildings, that provide single occupancy studios through to large, shared and duplex apartments for approximately 8,000 students.
With the large number and variety of lifts in the portfolio, Jackson has been providing a lift maintenance and repairs service to cover OEM and non-OEM, closed and open protocol systems that include both hydraulic and traction technology. Our customer’s brief is to ensure that the lifts in each of their buildings are not only safe for all students, irrespective of any disabilities but importantly fully in service for both residents and visitors alike.
For some time, Jackson have proudly been working with this valued customer and their facilities team to provide a lift maintenance and repairs service to ensure that the lifts in each of their buildings are not only safe for students, some of whom may have limited mobility, but also fully in service for both residents and visitors alike.
When the lift maintenance contract recently came up for renewal, Jackson was again asked to participate in a competitive tendering process. After our submission and subsequent meetings, we were all delighted when the contract award was confirmed and we were informed that our known service, friendly engineers and competitive pricing won the contract renewal.
